Hello Virtual Academy Families,

Thank you for choosing Virtual Academy for your early childhood virtual education and enrichment needs! My name is Jocelyn Lemley, and I am the Director/Owner of Virtual Academy. I developed our program model, out of a passion for setting a standard of excellence for virtual programming. Students ages 18 months - 6th grade can benefit from our LIVE virtual platform from preschool programming, enrichment programming, and tutoring with use of our highly skilled team of educators.

I have a passion for early childhood education. I have been working in the childcare and education fields for 11 years. I am a graduate of Montclair State University, with my Master of Arts in Teaching, and minor in American Sign Language.

My New Jersey Teaching Certifications include: Early Childhood Education, and Teacher of Students with Disabilities. I'm also a certified Kids Yoga and Mindfulness Instructor. I have worked with thousands of children throughout my career in childcare with nonprofit organizations. I have developed a unique, academic, dynamic, and engaging virtual preschool model, that is servicing families this year and I hope will service families for many more years to come.

This is Miss Roula. She is a talented and top-notch educator working with the Virtual Academy Team!

She is one of our Lead Teachers and also our Theater Specialist. She is a Certified English Educator, K-12, with various certifications in diverse educating strategies. She has participated and presented workshops on inclusion, diversity and implicit bias specifically geared towards the impact these topics have on the education field. She is pursuing a Master's Degree in Educational Leadership.

Ms. Roula brings a high energy flow, fun, engagement, theater, and music to the Virtual Academy Team. Her approaches to teaching and learning keep children, excite, engaged, and interested to learn.
