Virtual Preschool

In the development stages of Virtual Academy's virtual preschool model, we held weekly zoom meetings with virtual preschool families, who told us exactly what it was they wanted to see in a virtual preschool education for their child. This enabled us to craft a model that satisfies the needs and desires of children and families creating a nurturing, safe, engaging, and academic environment.

The main points families want:

• A full Preschool Education - they want their child ready for Kindergarten

• A LIVE synchronous program

• A professional teacher, experienced in delivering a preschool education

• The use of New Jersey State Standards for Preschool Education

• Teachers that are engaging and make their child enjoy learning

• A sense of community and socialization

• Handwriting development

• Enrichment embedded into the program, such as Yoga, American Sign Language, Art, Music, Dance, Social Emotional Learning, etc.
